I wanted to share this great project that I came across recently when visiting the Marcus Rashford mural created by Akse_P19.

It’s beautiful: what an awesome idea to create a sense of community and brighten up the environment through street art from lots of different creators. Can’t say that I’m a big fan of Pepperoni but, to coin a phrase, ban the bland!

Boring old grey shutters are banished forever… let’s face it Manchester isn’t exactly renowned for its sunshine so what better way to bring a little ray of sunshine to the world and put a smile on people’s faces as they go about their daily lives.

Well done Withington and all the volunteers who are working so hard to make it happen: if you’re in the area check out the work and, if you are able, donate to the project.
